Our Story

We have been providing reliable service to the St Peter community since 1971. In 1985, we started Don's Ace Hardware and later that year split into two operations. The hardware store was purchased by Don's son, Dave, and Don moved next door with the appliance portion of the business. Bob Sheehy was Don's salesperson and Bruce Orth was his service technician for appliances. In 1989, Bruce's son, Jeff Orth, started part-time as a service tech and a delivery person.

When Don decided to retire in 1991, Bob bought out the sales portion of the business and Bruce purchased the service side, creating the Appliance Clinic that still remains in the same building.

In 2007, Bob retired and Bruce, Jeff and Linda Orth purchased Don's Appliance & TV. The name remained the same because of its history and reputation.

Don's Appliance & TV prides itself on being a small town, family owned and operated business that gives their customers the best prices possible as well as fast, dependable service.
